BacTrac is very easy to use equipment, ideal for routine analysis laboratories. Individual measuring positions can be used independently as new samples become available for analysis, without the need to group them.
Once introduced into the incubator, the samples are automatically recognized by the software, thus allowing the desired microbiological parameter to be measured.
The measurement cycle is carried out automatically, which means that the user’s constant presence is not necessary. All data resulting from these measurements are then stored in a database compatible with the LIMS and can be processed later.
BacTrac has very easy and intuitive operating software and results evaluation software. It can be used to test sterility, TAMC enumeration (count of total aerobic mesophilic bacteria), as well as to determine microorganisms that indicate microbiological quality (enterobacteria, coliforms, etc.) and for the detection of pathogenic microorganisms (salmonella, listeria, S. aureus, etc.). Having said that, we can say that it is the fastest, most versatile and most automated method currently available on the market.
